Proposed Guildtown Development Group
OPPORTUNITY TO GET INVOLVED
Further to the information displayed on the Community Noticeboard and posted on Facebook regarding Guildry funding.
The Guildry have stated that we must set up a group to manage the funding for the community which had been agreed during the sale of Guildry land to A & J Stephen Housebuilders.
The next step is, therefore, to ask for interested volunteers from the local community.
Any member of the local community who is willing to be involved in the setting up of this new community development group is invited to meet in the Hall on
MONDAY 3rd OCTOBER at 7.00pm
This is an initial meeting to discuss management and how best to take forward membership and liaison within the community.
It is NOT to discuss funding of any projects at this initial stage.
This is an exciting opportunity for any member of the local community to be involved in taking on this role and it will also give any new residents the opportunity to become involved in the future of the village.
It is really vital that this community group is set up as soon as possible as the Guildry will not transfer any funding for community use until we can confirm that we have a community group set up who will have agreed procedures in place to ensure transparency and accountability at all stages of the process.
