Playgroup is a small friendly group which runs during school term time on Thursday mornings from 9.30-11.25am in Guildtown Village Hall. Any parent or carers of children aged 2 ½ - 5 years who are interested in joining please contact the group via email on GuildtownPlaygroup@gmail.com.
As well as the Hall, playgroup makes use of the AstroTurf and play park facilities when the weather allows.
Guildtown Playgroup celebrated its 30 year anniversary with a day of fun on Sunday 7th September, 2014.
An apple tree was planted by Playleader Caryl Steeves and Innes (4yrs) before past and present members planted daffodil bulbs around it. Coffee and home baking with a display of Playgroup photos over the years and a raffle helped to raise vital funds. Many thanks to all who donated prizes and supported the event.
The tree was kindly donated by The Appletree Man from Plants with Purpose in Bankfoot and is a variety native to Angus . It will bear fruit in years to come for the children to enjoy at the recently refurbished playpark.
